You should see a popup form appear on this page inviting you to join a mail group. You can have anything you want in a popup, registration forms like this one, links to other documents, latest news links etcetera. You can time popup events or you can initiate them by a click on a link or a button. You can also use cookies to control, to an extent, wether or not your visitor sees a popup, for instance there's no point in asking a registered visitor to register with your site.
This popup has some client side security checks and validation. If you are sending data to a server you should repeat the checks and validation server side.
I like to centralise popups both horizontally and vertically to best attract attention, however, you can position the popup anywhere you want on the page.
