HTML5 Panorama Animation
This animation invokes a sliding image within an HTML5 canvas element. To use this you need either panoramic images or suitable high definition images from which you can crop a 'slice'.
I'm not sure how useful this is generally but with the right photos and for the right applications I think it could be quite effective. Getting the right image can be difficult, my advice would be to take the highest definition photo you can from a distance. That way the part of the image you want to display can be cropped and used in the animation.
You can download panoramic images from the internet but please take note of any potential copywrite issues
